This is merely an estimated sales ranking, even moreso than usual, because the online websites are not cooperating — two of the Big Names went down this week.

With Borders completely out (until, one presumes, they emerge from beta and actually launch their new site) and with Amazon’s Manga Listings going through some sort of meltdown (ref. Monday’s post) I’m missing about a 20% of my total input. That doesn’t sound like much, but since items are weighted by how they rank and on which site they appear, having lost Borders and most (maybe all) of Amazon also means losing a third of the available points used to determine the rankings

– since my chart tracks comparative rankings, the Top 500 is more or less the same, but the missing background data makes the Series rankings a bit more problematic.

Rather than post meaningless and possibly incorrect data, I’m skipping the secondary charts and just posting the Manga Top 500, and an abreviated Top Series post (an amended Top 20).

Those of you who like to follow the Midlist 500 might jump into the chart at number 50 or so
