2007 Q1 Site Report (II)– the manga
I’m not above promoting myself (any blogger is inherently, perhaps genetically, predisposed to be guilty of that particular offence) and I am proud of what we’ve done since our ‘official’ launch on 1 January (rightly so, IMHO) but I know most of you linking in from some outside site (as always, thanks for linking!) have no clue and perhaps no interest as to what Comicsnob is really about, past the dozen or so posts visible on our main page each day.
So I’d like to start a tradition, one that will be repeated dare I say quarterly: The Comic Snob Quarterly Report.
(So, where’s part one, you ask? I’m a manga snob, but since I post in English I guess I’ll admit that comics still get top billing around here. For now.)
A little healthy competition is what keeps the site humming at a fever pitch, though, so today I’m only posting my crap; Bob can do his own hawking. Oh, I suppose I’ll do something similar for the regular comic posts, if Bob doesn’t get around to it… after all at least one of those was mine, though it was a 200 page hardcover book. But I’ll wait a week.

Also of note are my weekly Manga Watch Lists, which started on 28 January and post each Sunday night. As might be guessed, the watch lists outline the new manga releases each week; we strive for accuracy but are at the mercy of the vagaries of the various distribution schedules…

Is the recap handy? Any benefit to be had from an alphabetical, as opposed to chronological list? Is Bob losing?
Comments are always appreciated.
