Today is the first day of 2007. News to you? I think not. Today is the day that many of you will make resolutions which may or may not stick. Today is also the day that comicsnob.com announces its official launch. Today we cease being mice (see our last few reviews) and become men (metphorically of course)! We resolve to provide you with timely and interesting reviews and columns. We also resolve to listen to your feedback and make this a site worth visiting for everyone, so leave us a comment, and we’ll try to make good on these resolutions.

We’re going to start the year off right by not posting any reviews or columns! However, for all of our new or occasional readers, we’d like to take this time to point out a few things.

Over to the left, you’ll find a menu. In addition to various quick, entertaining, and informative pages, you’ll notice a “Browse Reviews” button. We’ve posted somewhere between forty and fifty reviews in the past couple of months prior to our official launch. There are a few gems in there (in our not-so-humble opinion), so check them out. To the right, you’ll find links to column archives and the overall site archives. Below that, you’ll find a comic shop locator, and below that, links to subscribe to this site in your favorite news reader.

So spread the word far and wide. Let your friends and enemies know where to find us. Heck, if you want to send spam directing people here, be our guest (*Note: This is not actually encouraged).

You’ll find some contact information over on the left. Drop us a line. Send us something to review. Let us know if you’re interested in contributing. Let us know what you’d like to see. What aren’t you getting anywhere else that you think we can provide? Throw us a bone!

Let’s consider the current version of the website to be official release version 1.0. We’ll continue to make tweaks and adjustments along the way, but we’ll stay with this overall look for a while. We’ll try to limit major overhauls of the site to a few well-planned conversions.
