Premise: 7 super-powered men are recruited by a shadowy organization to save the world from some guy who calls himself the “Son of Hell.”
In this issue, our rag-tag band of freedom fighters sits around and listens to 23 pages of exposition. Oh, and the Son of Hell comes back and kills some people.

Review:
Well, better to get this stuff out of the way now, I suppose. We have page after page of our heroes sitting around a table listening to all of the back story. There are some scenes interspersed of some guy getting his eye plucked out by a chopstick (he doesn’t seem to really mind) and other acts of gory human mutilation, but for the most part, this is the info-dump of the series. Hopefully in the next issue, everyone is all on board to go kick some sorcerer’s ass back to the Ming Dynasty.
Art good. Writing good. I just want something to happen already.
